This region, which was once a forbidden kingdom, unveils itself on your Muktinath drive tour, showcasing dramatic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and ancient monasteries. Mustang’s landscape is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Arid desert valleys contrasting with snow capped peaks create a captivating landscape. As you drive towards Mustang, you’ll navigate winding roads, witness breathtaking mountain vistas, and experience the thrill of exploring this remote region.

Talking about Muktinath Temple, the main focus of this tour, this sacred temple stands as a testament to spiritual devotion at a breathtaking altitude of 3,710 metres, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas. Right at the base of the majestic Thorong La Mountain Pass in Mustang, this revered sanctuary holds profound significance for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims alike. For Hindus, it holds a place among the revered 108 Divya Desams, while for Buddhists, it is regarded as one of the 24 Tantric places of profound spiritual energy. At its heart lies a magnificent pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, exuding an aura of divine grace and tranquility. Beyond its religious sanctity, Muktinath offers a spiritual journey of purification. Behind the temple, 108 sacred water sprouts await, each believed to absolve sins as pilgrims pass through them and immerse themselves in the purifying waters of two sacred ponds in front of the temple.
