About Muktinath Temple

Muktinath is a symbol of a place of peace and power. People believe the holy bath here can give you freedom from the world of illusion and maya. And also gives the bounded chain of human indulgence in the earthly existences. The beautifully adorned 3 tiered temple of pagoda style is also considered to be the reincarnation and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are 108 sacred spouts of water cast in the shape of a cow and 2 ponds where devotees take the holy bath. Apart from the main temple there is a remarkable coexistence of other Hindu temples (Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesha) and many prayer wheels and Chortens (stupas) in a common religious platform.

Helicopters tour in Nepal are the easiest and shortest way to get to Muktinath temple. This package is generally the best tour package for the people who are willing to visit the Muktinath temple but do not have sufficient time. Though the package lasts for a short time, the aerial views of Himalayan ranges are very wonderful.
