Trip Overview

With a land coverage of 0.03% in the world and 0.3% in South Asia, Nepal is a landlocked country, which might seem like a small country in comparison. Yes, it is a small country, but have you ever thought why Nepal is famous despite its area coverage? Obviously, because of the resources and attractions it houses. Natural, cultural, adventure, religious, historical landmarks, and what not? It sounds like a joke to have everything within one country and, most importantly, within a single tour. But it is possible with our 10 Days Ultimate Nepal Tour Package. This tour curates the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and natural wonders, ensuring you discover the magic of Nepal within your travel timeframe. It combines popular destinations in Nepal, such as Kathmandu, the capital city; Bandipur, the traditional hill town; Pokhara, the serene city; and Chitwan, the wildlife heaven. Having all these destinations within one tour is like a dream come true, where travellers with different travel interests can find their own preferences. Let’s go deeper into how your travel style aligns with the diverse beauty of Nepal:

Natural Attractions

Nepal is known for its captivating natural beauty, from the bustling Kathmandu to Pokhara, Bandipur, and the untamed wilderness of Chitwan. Kathmandu Valley, rather than the city itself, is a heaven for nature lovers, with places such as Chandragiri Hills and Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. However, much emphasis is given to the cultural heritage of the valley. Your actual journey to experience nature starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara to Chitwan and the destinations in between, such as Bandipur.

Bandipur, a traditional Newari hill town, enchants visitors with its panoramic views of the Himalayas. Nearby, Pokhara boasts the serene Phewa Lake and landmarks seamlessly blending with natural wonders like Davis Falls and Phewa Lake. Witness the magic of sunrise as it paints the Annapurna range with a golden glow at Sarangkot. You’ll be amazed by how the snow capped peaks decorate the sky while their reflections shimmer in the tranquil Phewa Lake below. Likewise, this tour features Chitwan National Park, which boasts a diverse ecosystem with incredible flora and fauna, making it a heaven for natural enthusiasts and adventurers. Guided jungle safaris, canoe rides along the Rapti River, and jungle walks offer intimate encounters with wildlife such as One Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger and several endangered species during your visit. Consequently, this tour promises a perfect blend of serenity, adventure, and awe inspiring natural beauty.

Cultural and Religious Heritage

Nepal stuns visitors with its incredible cultural and religious treasures. In Kathmandu, the sacred Pashupatinath temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site, the majestic Boudhanath stupa, and the ancient Swayambhunath stupa stand as pillars of Hindu and Buddhist faith. Exploring the narrow alleys and bustling bazaars of Kathmandu Durbar Square, one can encounter hidden gems such as traditional Newari houses with traditionally carved wooden doors and windows and chaotic street markets selling local handicrafts and souvenirs.

In Bandipur, preserved Newari architecture and ancient temples evoke tradition with its Newari settlement surrounded by green hills and mountains. Traversing to Pokhara, where serenity meets spirituality. You will be mesmerised by the mystical depths of the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, the mighty Bindhyabasini Temple, and the Taal Barahi Temple in the middle of the Phewa Lake. On the other hand, in the plains of Nepal is Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, radiating peace through it. While in Chitwan, along with the wildlife exploration, you will find yourself immersed in the local culture of the Tharu people through Tharu dances, village exploration. All these encounter Nepal’s cultural and historical essence, letting you appreciate the long preserved cultural beauty of Nepal.

Pashupatinath Temple is the largest and holiest shrine for Hindus, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple, situated on the bank of the Bagmati River, was built in the 5th century. It is represented by a four faced shiva-lingam housed in the main temple. There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva), and 12 Jyotirlingas (phallic shrines) to explore. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed on the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river. A centre for Hindu pilgrimage, this temple hosts different major festivals, such as Maha Shivaratri, and pujas such as Rudra Abhishek and evening Aarti. Additionally, no entrance fee is charged for Indian nationals to enter the temple.

Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world, attracting visitors for its religious and spiritual significance. Around the base of the stupa, you’ll find 108 small niches housing statues of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha, representing the different stages of enlightenment. It is a sacred place for both Tibetan Buddhists and locals.

Believed to be the oldest Buddhist shrine in Nepal, the history of the Swayambhunath Stupa dates back 2500 years. Also known as a Monkey temple, it is a hilltop pilgrimage site surrounded by smaller temples, stupas, and monasteries. This site shows the perfect harmony of Hindu and Buddhist religions with the combination of Buddhist stupas and Hindu shrines.

Kathmandu Durbar Square, the ancient site that was once the royal palace of the Malla kings, showcases the city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. It is surrounded by palaces, temples, courtyards, and statues, with the centerpiece, Hanuman Dhoka, displaying Newari architecture and craftsmanship. Besides that, other heritage sites such as Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap, Jagannath Temple, and Taleju Temple make the square attractive. Bandipur is a beautiful village that is a well preserved example of a traditional Newari hill town. The village is filled with narrow streets, brick houses, wooden balconies and windows, and traditional temples and shrines.
